Wow the book Tuesdays with Morrie is what I want to consider one of my triple collection. I have the book, the movie and the audio book. I read the book for the first time about four years ago. The book was so overwhelming at certain parts I could hardly contain myself and actually started crying because it had moved me so much.

The book is based on one of Mitch's college professors that receives a gift he probably never wanted and that gift of course was Lou Gehrig's disease. Mitch finds out about Morrie's sickness by watching a late night television show and remembers a promise he made up always staying in touch with him.

Mitch goes to visit Morrie and soon starts to see him on Tuesdays. Hence the title of the book Tuesdays with Morrie. Morrie starts to teach Mitch the important things about life while Mitch is struggling with certain events taking place in his life at that time.

The book will teach anyone some simple lessons about enjoying life.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven is another wonderful book and movie. The book is about a man who like most of us had envisioned a different life and seemed to get stuck in the same old routine that most of us get caught up in. Going to the same old job every day and looking at our life with dissatisfaction and wondering why we are here. What is the point or purpose of our lives?

The man's name is Eddie and dies while trying to say a young girl on the Ferris wheel. Soon after Eddie dies he starts his journey of meeting five different people and soon puts the pieces of the puzzle together about his life.

The book gets you thinking about your life and the impact you might have had on some of the people you have met or interacted with briefly or on a continuing basis during your life.
